Knights Ferry.............

After Syd's doctors appointment we drove up the hill and met Carl and the kids at a 50's diner for lunch. The kids love going there. Then Carl took his "hiking and climbing girls" to Knights Ferry to hike around and I brought Caleb home with me to get ready for a baptism I had to speak at tonight. The girls had tons of fun just trying to balance on the logs that mark the parking area. It doesn't take much for them to have fun, I think that as adults we take the small things in life for granted, like how fun it is to walk along a log. I am so grateful for my sweet kids for helping to remind me to find joy in simple things.
