We had our first primary activity of the year today so since it was Valentines we went with the obvious theme for the games and activities. We played "pin the LIPS on Ms. Valentine", had a relay race with hearts that had instructions on them, for example, hop on one foot or run backwards, we also decorated heart shaped sugar cookies (thanks Carissa) and wrote letters telling our Military Troops how much we love and appreciate them and what they do for our country. We are going to put the letters into 2 care packages with treats and some pics and mail them to Ryan in Kosovo and Joe in Texas to hand out to their platoons/ squadrons. We had lots of kids show up and everybody had a great time. Thanks Misty, Mel and Pat for your help getting ready for this party.

Lorilee, those are all such great ideas for activities. I'm definitely going to use you as a resource if I ever get called into primary/cub scouts/anything that requires clever ideas. :D
