Ward Family Temple Day

Last Saturday we had our 2nd annual Ward Family Temple Day. It was awesome. I didn't go inside because since it was "family" temple day, we watched the kids so their parents could go inside. We had lots of volunteers help us but I have to say a big thanks to Misty and Pat. I seriously have the best presidency. We had games and activites for the kids planned and we did some scrapbook pages for a Primary scrapbook. The Oakland Temple also has a tour where the Sister Missionaries take the kids for a short walk up and around the temple. You can actually walk along the top with a great view of San Francisco in the back. They talk to the kids about the temple and how important temples are. It was really great because some of my older kids were talking about how excited they are to be able to go in when they turn 12. Having the kids up there really makes it a great experience and they get a better understanding of the Temple and how special it is. It was also great because mom and dad got to come spend the day with us.

My awesome presidency minus our new Uilani who slipped out before the pic.
